We believe that everyone deserves an opportunity to experience the life changing power of God. We have an awesome bunch of guys and girls in the Burnie City Life Centre, who desire to have a postive impact in the lives of those around them, through a demonstration of the life changing power that they have experienced as a result of giving their lives to Jesus. We desire to journey with these wonderful young adults and provide them with every opportunity to mature and develop as Christians. Why? So that they can lead you to a understanding of God's mighty love and grace within your life. God Bless you. There are two types of events organised for our young people. The first is a full on worship and bible study event which meets every Monday night during school terms. These nights are typically filled with worship (singing & prayer) and God's Word (the Bible). Our Monday night meetings are called Metamorphosis as we believe that our Creator calls us to 'grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ' (2 Peter 3:18). Our growth in grace and our increase in knowledge of our Lord and Saviour produces a metamorphosis into the likeness of Christ. Meta is not a bible bashing brain washing indoctrination, rather a time where we hang out, learn about Christ, share our own experiences of His life changing power and seek to continue our journey to perfection in Christ. The second provides an opportunity for our youth to make new friends and develop existing friendships, and all whilst having a great time. We call it Reality and we meet generally on a Saturday evening at the Burnie City Life Centre. Now we are always mindful that it is Jesus who makes the real difference in our lives and although Reality is predominantly a chillin night, it is well and truly seasoned with the Word of God (the Bible) and testimonies of Jesus continual impact in our lives. Again, its not about bible bashing or brain washing, its about real people being real and being prepared to share the truth about how Jesus impacts their lives in a positive way, every single day.
